The name “nuiMOs” comes from the Japanese word for plush “nuigurumi” (ぬいぐるみ), plus the English word “model.”
On November 1st, 2018 the first set of nuiMOs fashion clothing and plush came out in Japan.
Subsequently released in Hong Kong and Shanghai Disneyland through 2019 and 2020, nuiMOs’ continued success led to a full-fledged international release on January 19th, 2021. A full line of plush, fashion clothing and accessories came out across all shopDisney sites and Disney Parks.
